On April 18, the launching ceremony of the second season of "Charming China City" and the inaugural meeting of Charming China City-City Alliance jointly sponsored by CCTV Financial Channel, Shiyan Municipal People's Government and Pacific Century Tourism were held in Shiyan City, Hubei Province. Forty-six cities took part in the grand ceremony here. Representatives of the competing cities in the first season of "Charming China City", representatives of the registered cities in the second season of "Charming China City" and representatives of specially invited cities gathered together. CCTV's financial channel and the program's main creative team, representatives of expert judges, representatives of the tourism industry and the investment community attended the event.
