Netflix宣布其首部自家制片的多镜头新喜剧﹑以青少年为目标的《Alexa & Katie》13集首季于美国时间3月23日上线，该喜剧由Paris Berelc及Isabel May主演。《Alexa & Katie》由Heather Wordham主创﹑Matthew Carlson负责制片，讲述两个长年好友Alexa（Paris Berelc）及Katie（Isabel May），她们正热切期待成为高校新生，但一些风波弄得她们自觉成了圈外人，然而重要的是好友还在身边。Alexa目前正在接受化疗，但这没动摇她外向的性格及对生活的热情，而Katie是个忠于朋友﹑性格古怪的可爱女生。
CBS一直保持自己夏季档有三档原创剧集播出；在终结了《穹顶之下 Under the Dome》和《传世 Extant》之后，CBS将一部新剧《American Gothic》直接预订成剧。本剧由Corinne Brinkerhoff执笔并由《穹顶之下 Under the Dome》和《传世 Extant》的制作人担纲制作，明年将联合新剧《BrainDead》和《困兽 Zoo》一起登陆夏季档。本剧讲述了一个颇有声望的波士顿家族在与其先人有关的一系列谋杀案东窗事发后试图重新在这个城市找到自己的定位；他们的先人是这一系列谋杀案嫌疑最大的帮凶。
