大型电视连续剧《刑警战记》由武汉市人民政府新闻办公室、湖北华语广电传媒有限公司、北京名人时尚影视文化传播中心联合出品。讲述了武州市公安局刑侦支队在队长田田带领手下众多精明能干的刑警破解一个又一个离奇案子的故事，表现了新一代刑警有血有肉的工作与生活。执导本剧的导演徐杰在开机仪式上表示，接到剧本读完后，觉得这是自己见过最有感觉的警察戏，更注重人性化，融入了大量令人感动的人民警察真实生活写照，生活气息浓，希望能通过自己的执导，将一位普通刑警的喜怒哀乐塑造的更加传神，更加贴近生活，让观众看后能随着剧情的发展情不自禁地喝彩。
