堡垒纪元2115年，边境部队出身的女少校“位沁”，来到中央堡垒参加天选者选拔，并因暗中追查“边境惨案”而屡遭暗杀。此时，堡垒头号公敌“元一”策动了一场诡谲浩大的反抗行动。一时间，各方势力都被卷入这场行动。
