本作品通过住在同一公寓的3位女性和各自的家庭所拥有的情况和欲望，来探讨新的结婚观、夫妻观、家庭观。主演的中山，扮演虽然是再婚对方和构筑家庭的妻子·母亲但是巨大的受欢迎自豪的妇女作家·内田百々子。木村饰演的是百々子的朋友，住在同一栋公寓的职业女性·富泽瑞希。大岛饰演的护士鸭居流美，是百百子分手的丈夫“伊玛妻”，是搬到同一公寓的护士。以《二十岁有你在的世界》而闻名的小说家泽木宏执笔剧本。《神的病历簿》导演深川荣洋。
