《中国医生》是国内首部以医护群体为主角的大型医疗纪录片。纪录片将镜头对准全国各地六家大型三甲医院，选取最具代表性的科室及医护人员，聚焦普通人与医院最常发生交集的场景，通过跟踪拍摄一个个有温情、有责任、有矛盾、也有希望的医患故事，多视角呈现了医生这一职业的不同面向，解读医疗系统在国民生命进程中扮演的重要角色，真实地展示中国医生们救死扶伤道路上的悲欢离合。
