小説家の私（本木雅弘）は、妻の春子（安藤サクラ）と４歳の娘?左枝子、二人の女中とともに暮らしており、娘の健康に対して臆病なほど神経質である。娘には夏でも風邪を引かぬように厚着をさせる。外で人が娘に対し物を食べさせようとすると、腹痛を起こすかも知れぬから絶対拒否等々。左枝子の前の子を流行り病で亡くしており、当然の帰結?徹底だと思っている。
