《#生死狙击# Shooter》主演Ryan Phillippe在社交媒体宣布自己康复后不久，USA立即宣布续订剧集第三季，新闻指第三季会是13集。在年中，Ryan Phillippe因为遇上车祸而断脚，当时剧组只拍到第九集的一半，在没有主演下无法继续拍摄，因此宣布删减两集，令第二季仅8集；报导指第三季会解决上季的事件，然后开启新故事。
