以野村宗弘的漫画《浮华》为原作的本作品的舞台是社家的阳台。因为丈夫的工作关系，从广岛来到东京的主妇中山麻衣子，每天都在忙着工作，等待丈夫回来的很晚。在这样的情况下，和麻衣子住在隔壁房间的丈夫的上司二叶一，在隔着一堵墙的阳台上反复对话，缩短了距离。
