这部单镜头情景喜剧松散地改编自编剧Kenya Barris的个人生活经历。主人公是一个中上阶层的黑人（Anthony meijubar.net Anderson），他试图依靠自己保留的「文化特性」来抚育子女，但却在各方面遭遇障碍：开明大方的妻子（Tracee Ellis Ross），因循守旧的父亲，还有被时代「同化」的孩子们全都反对他。
本片讲述了一只日本雪猕猴遇到了一个陷入困境的职业杀手布莱斯(杰森·苏戴奇斯配音)的故事。而当布莱斯去世后,这只猴子(在布莱斯的灵魂的指引下)追随他的刺客脚步寻求复仇。
本片通过两个原本毫不相干的男人意外互换身份而引发一连串闹剧为背景故事展开，徐毅原本是泰国唐人街的无业游民，他把自己人生失败归结到运气上，总是怨天尤人。一次偶然的机会，他阴差阳错跟珠宝商龙山互换了身份，由此卷入了龙山与犯罪团伙骷髅佛的争斗之中。徐毅最终选择站在正义一边，与龙山一起将骷髅佛团伙绳之以法，他也在龙山的影响下认识到自己的缺陷，决定向龙山一样处在低谷也不要抱怨消极而是以积极的心态面对人生

Min在剧中首次挑战火辣性感的御姐，她自己也表示这是一次全新的挑战。而男主Thanwa也是7台颇具话题性的男星之一，饰演的角色多数都是深情暖男，“爱火游戏”中被虐千百遍还是深情的不行的姐夫角色简直是经典。而great（不是3台的大少great）则是7台现在力捧的新人。
