本片四个小主人公都是中学生，因为迷恋网络而发生了一些故事。四个主人公出身于不同的家庭，他们的家长有商人、也有停车场的收费工，家庭背景不同，但是每个家庭都存在自身的问题，归根结底是家长与孩子的沟通出现了问题。当家长真的发现问题的严重性时，才开始思考自己对孩子的忽略……
《暗黑第二季》讲述了一个超自然力量的家庭传奇故事。故事设置在今天的一个德国小镇，两个孩子的消失揭开了四个家庭的双重生活和破碎的关系。该剧集共十集，每集 1 小时，讲述了将小镇与 1986 年的过去联系起来的超自然力量。
